“Don’t chase after traffic. Find out where the traffic is going and get in front of it.” This quote was in an article on Jeff Herring’s website. He’s one of the guys responsible for the 100 Articles 100 Days challenge that I have been doing the last several weeks. (Just for the record, there is still time to join. The challenge ends on July 1st).

I admit I’ve been chasing down blog traffic the last several months. My website needs to grow or at least I need my website to grow. It seems that I am succeeding with those sites where I am guest posting on other sites or where people are linking back to my articles.

I love the concept behind getting in front of the blog traffic. My problem is that I am not sure just how to go about doing that. Since I’ve already wasted most of the day I decided to spend a little time coming up with some more ways to get in front of the traffic and drive more traffic to my blog.

Ideas for Driving Blog Traffic to Your Site

My personal thoughts on getting in front of the blog traffic is to find out what people are looking for on the internet and then write something to meet that need. Other than meeting that aspect of blog traffic it is best to keep consistent, quality posts filling up your site.
